The Persuaders
The Persuaders are DJ / Production duo Brett Gould and Adam Lee. Their paths crossed back in 2003, when both working for a record distribution company in London and with their passion for House Music, a partnership quickly formed.
They have graced the decks in some of the biggest venues and club nights across the U.K, Europe and even as far as Asia. Between them, they have had over 30 years experience in playing out. Their talent on the decks has seen them playing alongside DJ’s like Danny Rampling, Deep Dish, Paul van Dyk, CJ Mackintosh, Chris Lake and Alex Gaudino to name but a few.
When it comes to achievements they have a C.V to be proud of, historically starting with a residency at the Mud Club at the former Bagleys in London. The pair have also been finalists in 3 major U.K DJ competitions, two of which run by Ministry of Sound and TDK, and the third by M.Y.N.C Project for the legendary northern night Passion.
The Persuaders don’t like to be pigeon holed. They can be heard playing a groovy warm up, right through to a peak time, or early morning set making them extremely versatile DJ’s.
On the production side over the last few years, the guys have released a few white labels and are constantly in the studio working away on new ideas. They have had support from Jim Shaft Ryan, Onionz and Jason Herd to name but a few. The Persuaders also have a few collaborations in the pipeline for the near future.
Currently the guys are residents for Kidology and Electronic Sessions, where they can be seen rocking the ES boat throughout the year, they also continue to play other nights as guests and they enjoy bringing their sound wherever they play. Recently they warmed up for Robbie Rivera on his UK debut night in London.
2010 is set to be a good year for the guys, watch this space!!
